DETAILS ON DYAD LAMP 2008.02 Dimensions: Approx 35 cm high, 15 cm cylindrical volume. Wooden base, inverted stone ashtray (possibly agate), natural tree trunk, two polymer clay "glow globes," mounted on top of two painted "tubes" made from the inner cores of the Chola Cactus plant, 5 watt incandescent lamps (not visible), electrical wire and switch. The two same-sized "glow globes" were constructed with identical-pattern polymer clay "cane" slices, low-temperature fired and varnished.
